  34. Can anyone who knows about these things tell me why the archive site
  35. is always referred to as archive.epas.utoronto.ca, whilst to get
  36. anywhere, I have to use klingon.epas.utoronto.ca???

  38. I have downloaded some of the Windows MIDI programs from the above
  39. archive. All is well except for MIDI Monitor 2.01. This comes as an
  40. EXE and two DLLs. It just won't run for me - won't even produce a
  41. window. I don't think it's anything trivial, like not having the
  42. DLLs in the PATH, so has anyone any ideas?

  44. I've just thought of something else. What MIDI controller messages
  45. does the GUS respond to? Does anyone have a list?

  54. Strange.. I installed dos 6, and suddenly wing commander 2 doesn't fry
  55. on my machine, but ultima7 stutters.  Don't know about U7 part 2.

  72. i just got this game for my pc, and i've tried using SBOS v1.42b on it with
  73. almost all of the options, i get the digitized sound, but none of the
  74. background noise the booklet talks about, like a heartbeat, and noise from
  75. when the computer is attacking my land.

  77. i didn't see this game listed in the sbos flag list, so if anyone has any info
  78. about this, please e-mail me.

  80. btw, the game supports soundblaster exclusively; no adlib or PAS suuport (or
  81. GUS 8( )

  110. but it will take a little more time. I'm sure we will be supporting the card

  140. general MIDI? I noticed X-wing had general MIDI support, and it seemed as
  141. though it would be nice.
